のように、料理の達人でも、焼き餃子を焦がしすぎてしまうことがあるのではないか。そんなことを思いながら、書いてみた。
料理長も餃子を焦がす（実際、料理長は焦がし過ぎないだろうけど）
僕は料理上手ではないけれど、それでも餃子をうまく焼けたこともなくはない。しかし、昨夜は仕事の修正対応をしたり、バタバタしながらだったので、料理に集中できなかった。サラダ油でなくゴマ油を使ってしまったし、肉を蒸らすための水も多すぎた。妻の話では、計量カップに半分くらいの水でよく、片栗粉を水にとかしてからフライパンの端に沿わせながら水を入れるとなおいい、とのこと。
料理なんて、たいしてできないのに、以前は上手に焼けたからと、油断したのもいけなかったのだろう。いざ、食べはじめる段になり、お肉が微妙に焼けてない（生っぽい）と娘にいわれ、再度、フライパンに餃子を並べ、水を入れて、蒸してみた。
二度焼きはダメかなと心配だったが、最終的に、それなりに味わえたのでホッとした。子どもたちも「おいしい、おいしい」と食べてくれた。なので、見栄えはわるいけど、味は合格最低ラインをクリア、ということにしておこうかな。

あらためて、油断は禁物、ということを学びました。慣れた頃こそ、注意が必要。
